One day I got a text from the sitter of my middle kiddo doing something cute. In that moment all I could think was you are watching them grow up through text messages instead of with your eyes. When I finally left corporate, to work from home I found myself yet again overcome by the either /or culture. Either I gave them the time they need OR I ran a business.
